Questions

Do parents need to pay?

No. Families who join your class receive everything you post, free, for as long as you are their teacher on AllSet. It is not a trial with an end date.

What if some families don't join?

Your posts reach the families who joined your class. Families join with a code you share in whichever channel you already use, including the class group, so anyone who has not joined yet can join the same way at any time.

Can I upload my weekly syllabus sheet?

Yes, as an Excel workbook (.xlsx). Upload the weekly syllabus or the exam datesheet your school already sends, and it becomes dated homework, class tests and exam entries for the whole class, with a chapter checklist against every exam portion. You see everything before it goes out, and the class gets one notification for the whole upload. It reads Excel files, and if you try a PDF or a photo it says so plainly instead of guessing at a date.

Is my students' data safe?

You see counts for the class, never a named child's planner and never a name held up against the others. There is no advertising and nothing is sold to anyone. The privacy policy and the plain-words page on how AllSet handles data are linked at the bottom of every page.
