AllSet vs Google Classroom
Google Classroom holds the material. AllSet holds the week.
Google Classroom is where a teacher hands out the material: the assignment, the document, the file the child turns back in. Classroom is better at that than anything else, and AllSet does not go near it. AllSet is where a child's week ends up: what is due tomorrow, the exam in three weeks, the tuition work, football on Tuesday, and the timetable that says which books go in the bag tonight.
Only the list moves. The material stays where the teacher put it. And AllSet does not connect to Classroom: nothing is synced or imported, because nothing is pulled from anywhere.
They answer two different questions
A teacher and a parent are not asking the same thing at five o'clock, which is why one tool rarely serves both well.
- Classroom answers the teacher's question: how do I give thirty students the same worksheet, collect it back, and mark it?
- AllSet answers the household's question: what does this child have to do tonight, across every subject, every teacher, tuition, and the rest of the week?
- The second question does not live inside any one class. It is spread across a group chat, an email, a subject portal, a tutor's notebook and a timetable on the fridge. That scattering is the thing AllSet exists to end.

How work actually gets into AllSet
Two routes, and neither of them is a connection to another service.
- A teacher on AllSet posts once. The homework, the exam or the notice lands in every student's planner in that class, instead of thirty messages. Her class is free to receive.
- The family writes it in. A line takes a few seconds, and it is the same few seconds whether the work came from Classroom, a group chat or a tutor.
- Nothing is scraped, synced or read on your behalf. If AllSet ever claimed to pull your Classroom assignments in, you would sign up expecting a full planner and find an empty one, so it does not claim it.

AllSet is not asking you to move off Classroom, and it does not want your files.
Keep handing out material the way you already do. What AllSet adds is the part Classroom was never meant to carry: one post that reaches every family as a dated line in the child's own planner, a count of how many have finished, and your own per-class reminders so tomorrow is ready before you leave today. You see aggregates, never a named child's planner.
Questions people actually ask
- Does AllSet connect to Google Classroom?
- No. AllSet does not read Google Classroom, does not sync with it and does not import from it. Nothing is pulled from anywhere. Work gets into AllSet in two ways: a teacher who uses AllSet posts it once and it lands in every student's planner, or the family writes the line in themselves, which takes a few seconds.
- Can we use both at the same time?
- That is the normal case. The school keeps using Classroom for the assignment and the file, because that is what it is good at. AllSet holds what is due and when, across every subject and every source, including the things Classroom never sees: tuition, the exam timetable, football on Tuesday.
- Why can I not see my child's Classroom work as a parent?
- Google Classroom is built around the teacher and the student. A parent can be added as a guardian and receive email summaries, but a guardian does not get the class itself, and the summaries arrive on Google's schedule rather than when you are standing in the kitchen at five o'clock. AllSet gives the parent a planner of their own, with up to three children on one account.
- Does my child's teacher have to use AllSet?
- No. A family can use AllSet on its own and add the work themselves. If the teacher does use AllSet, everything she sets arrives in the planner by itself and that family pays nothing for it.
- What does AllSet cost if our school already pays for Google Workspace?
- Nothing changes for the school. AllSet is free for a family whose teacher or tutor uses it, and ₹149 / month for a family who wants to add and plan their own work on top of that. There is a free trial on new accounts.
- Is AllSet on the App Store?
- It is on Google Play for Android. There is no App Store version: on an iPhone or iPad you add AllSet to the home screen from Safari and it works the same way. The install page has the steps for both.
