How AllSet works for teachers
AllSet is a planner that lives with the student. You put work into it once, and it lands in every student's own planner alongside everything else they have on.
You never chase, and you never see a named child's homework unless one family specifically invites you to.
The three ways you connect
There is no "kind of teacher" to choose when you sign up. What you are depends on the link, and you can hold all three at once.

Making a class
Name it the way your school does — 6B, 8A. Say which subject you teach them. Tick I'm also their class teacher if you are.
That tick matters. A class teacher can post about anything, not just her subject, and the exam names and class timetable she sets apply to those students. Leave it unticked and you are their subject teacher.
Your subject is remembered, so you never type it twice.
Getting students in
Every class has a six-character code. Read it out, put it on the board, or share the link in the parents' group.
They enter it, see your name and the class, and ask to join. Nothing reaches a child until you approve them. You see their name, class and school before you decide.
If a code gets out, rotate it. Close enrolment once everyone is in.
Posting work
Set homework, an exam or a notice once, and it appears in every student's planner. Pick several classes and it goes to all of them.
- Homework and projects carry a due date.
- An exam can carry a topic checklist. Students tick topics off, and the readiness ring in their planner fills as they revise.
- A notice has no deadline. "Bring your art file Friday."
You see how many have finished. Never who. Thirty families have not agreed to be inspected one by one, and the number is what tells you whether the class is coping.
Work you set is locked in the student's planner. They can tick it done; they cannot change the title, the date or the subject.
Private tuition
A parent invites you to one child — you do not set this up.
They send you a six-character code or a QR. Enter it under Settings › Private tuition, or scan it. You will see which family and which child before you commit, and then the parent approves before anything is shared.
Once linked you see that one child's homework and exams in full, can log what you covered, and can enter marks on tests you set. You see nothing else about the family — not a sibling, not the account, not what they pay.
A note on marks. Marks you enter are recorded as yours, and the parent can see that and correct them. Only the child's term exams feed their end-of-term trophy — a test you set is a record of how they did, not something that changes their standing. If the family is on the free plan, marks you enter still show on their report card but do not feed the trophy at all.
Either side can end it at any time.
Removing a student
From the class roster. Work you already set stays in their planner — it is theirs, they did it. Anything you set for a future date is removed. They can ask to join again.
What it costs
Your first class is free, up to 60 students. Set homework, exams and a timetable for it, and nothing is charged — not for a month, but for as long as you teach it.
Your first private tuition family is free too, and it is a separate allowance — teaching a class and tutoring one family both cost nothing.
₹249 a month covers everything beyond that: more classes, more tuition families, or a class larger than 60. One price for the whole account, however many classes you teach and however many families you tutor. If you do both, the same ₹249 covers both — you are never billed twice for being two things.
Your students and their families do not pay to receive your work. A family with no subscription still sees everything you set and can tick it off. That stays free for as long as you teach them.
Your subscription renews on its own until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next payment and you keep the time you have paid for. If a payment fails you keep everything for seven days while it retries; after that you can still post to one class, and no family loses work you have already set.
Questions people ask
Can I see a particular child's homework? Not through a class — only the count. If a family invites you as their tutor, then yes, for that one child.
Can I be a class teacher and teach them a subject? Yes. Most class teachers do. Tick the box and name your subject.
A student says they never got my homework. Check they are approved on the roster, not still waiting. Work only reaches approved students.
I teach the same subject to four sections. Make four classes and post to all of them at once. The subject is remembered.
I posted to a class with nobody in it. AllSet tells you when a post reached no one. It will arrive automatically as students join.
Do I need my school's permission? That is between you and your school. AllSet holds a student's name, class and school, and only what you set.
