Do parents pay anything?
No. Every family who joins a class receives what its teachers post, free, for as long as the school is on AllSet. The school pays once a year, and families never pay for anything the school sets. Some families choose AllSet's own family plan to organise the rest of their week, and that is always their choice, never something school work needs.
Can we start with one grade?
Yes, and you can start smaller still. Most schools begin with one teacher and one class, free for a term. If it works, tell us how many classes you want it in, one grade or the whole school, and the price follows the size of the school.
Who can see a child's work?
The child, and the parent or guardian who holds the account. A teacher who adds a child to a class sees the child's name, class and school on the roster, and how many in the class finished each piece of work. That is a count, not a list of names. A teacher never sees a child's planner, their other subjects or their marks. A tutor sees a child's week only if the family invites them. There is no advertising, nothing is sold, and nothing is used to train anything.
What do teachers need to do?
Post homework, exams and notices once per class, instead of in several places. We set up the classes and timetables with you on a call, so each teacher starts with their classes ready. Families join each class with a code the teacher shares, and the teacher approves who joins. A weekly syllabus sheet in Excel can be uploaded as it is.
